WHO WE ARE

With the belief that all men and women are gifts from God, St. Leo's Soup Kitchen is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that strives to provide sustenance, medical and dental care and other social services as needed to less fortunate members of the Detroit community provided at no cost to all who come. 

St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen operates Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30am to 12:30pm, serving hot meals and takeaway lunches to guests in the Detroit community. The Soup Kitchen serves around 40,000 meals per year.

In addition, St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen provides shower facilities, access to medical and dental services via the Malta Free Clinic, clothing, barber visits and other social services.

The Malta Dental and Medical Clinics are open from 8:30am to 1:30pm with the Medical clinic open the first and third Wednesdays of the month and Dental clinic open every Thursday and Friday. The Malta Clinic serves around 1,000 patients each year.
